Some ICE lovers will do almost anything against teslas for no good reason if you consider that 80% of a Tesla is manufactured in the US. Yes it’s PE was in the nose bleed section at 200x at one point, but it’s now nearly 45x compare to the loss making ford and hardly profitable GM.
