When America went crazy!

It has been years now, but Americans are crazy, there's no doubt about it.   It is evident that their electoral system is broken (we're not doing that great either) special interests run the place, and if you think otherwise you are lying to yourself.  It is more than likely that the 2026 mid term election will be the most honest in decades, because of the disgust of the population.  I want to be clear the wantonness of the republican party is matched by the wokeness of the Democrats.  

The current occupant of the White House is an old kleptocrat, that was elected by an electorate that was so disgusted with the old bunch that they decided to punt for "that guy"  who proved over and over to be not only a bully but an idiot.

Things are serious now, the situation has become dire.  Let's be clear, Trump has invaded Venezuela, threatened the same for Canada, Greenland and Cuba.   In addition he has started a war with Iran, that is going so badly that 30 general officers, including the chairman of the joint chief of staff refused to engage into a ground war in Iran, in addition refused orders to bomb powerplants, bridges and water treatment plants – real War Crimes.

If that was all, and it's a lot, it doesn't even cover the other things, now the White House wants to cut the government budget of two trillion to support the war in Iran!  The debt is out of control, and he's made enemies in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.  How much worse can it get?  On the energy crisis, the real pain has not really started, except in Africa and the Far East where the fuel crisis has started for real, we still have a week in Europe and two in America, when fuel prices rise dramatically.   European countries have a massive cushion, they can cut that massive taxes on fuel, America doesn't have that luxury, there are almost no taxes on fuel in America, aside from California, the vast majority have pennies.  

All the chaos is caused by one man, the American President.  100% of the chaos over the past year is entirely due to that man.  The cost to the global economy will be massive, millions will die because of that man.  Ideally, he will be remembered the same way as Mao, Hitler as one of the vilest men to ever live.  So bad that his children and grandchildren will change their names!

Finally, let's talk of the President of Israel, who just three days ago said that the conflict in Iran was "an American led war" and that Israel had nothing to do with this!  I don't think the Iranians are buying that at all.  I suspect that Americans will soon blame Israel for the Iran war, especially if the American President is successful in getting his ground war.  They will blame Israel for their deads and will change their support for that Nation.  Only the most rabid ultra christian fundamentalist that believe in the "end of day" prophecy will still support that nation.   

The real pain is about to start as between 20 and 30% of global oil supplies are now being removed.

The end of Tesla?

 it takes a special kind of idiot, to think that he can antagonize his entire customer base, and think that it will not impact his business. When Elon Musk went to work for Donald Trump, and created the doge department, he antagonized every liberal, and these people represent 90% of his client base.That’s not a brilliant move. Now Elon Musk is worth hundreds of billions of dollar, so he shouldn’t care a great deal, however, he needs to care because of several other issues. The cyber truck has been a disaster, most have had to be recalled because of defective glue, it’s not a truck, it’s not a car, it’s noisy, relatively uncomfortable, but great as a development platform. What Tesla has learned in making car manufacturing more seamless is truly amazing. Demographics

 I am preparing a kind of family tree for our children so that they know where they came from.  In my family I am the only survivor, although my brother and sister died recently they were both in their seventies (a story I told already).    It was a fun process, but it provided more than that.  First, I married relatively young I was 26 when I married and nearly 30 when our first child was born.   I was looking at my ancestors.  On my mother's side, she had 6 siblings, Four died before the age of 30, two in war, and two from illnesses.  Only she and a single sister survived.   The two boys had a child each but they died in WWII, and the other sister died as an infant.   what is interesting is that every one of my mother's siblings had children in their early 20s.   I know that my mom was hardly 20 when my brother was born.    What is remarkable is that among our friends, we are the only ones to have fou...
