This is gonna sound unhinged, I was at a dinner three nights ago in London, where the conversation at one point veered towards my friends family ranch in Argentina. He indicated that his parents had sold their 60,000 Hectare ranch. To some American billionaire.
What surprise me was that my friend told me that several Massive ranches had changed hands in Argentina recently. What surprise, my friend, was that these were not just acquired as real asset investments rather these ranches were being equipped with ultra luxurious housing and independent power supplies. granted, it’s a bit Rich for me to say such a thing considering our own farms, power needs and how they’re being met.
our farm currently operates on nearly 3000 acres of land, so 60,000 hectares is so much larger. It’s like comparing millions and billions. To give a sense of proportion, the main Ranch house is 6 miles from the closest public road.
granted, all the information my friend has is now secondhand, but it remains that in these remote parts of Argentina it’s not that hard to figure out what’s going on. Bottom line these American billionaires are building, massive compounds, isolated, and safe, and more importantly, largely and anonymous.
The joke has always been with the shelters, bomb shelters really that American billionaires have been building in the hundreds, is that these are limited by the amount of diesel and spare parts you have available. A ranch in Argentina, which is remote and has complete energy and food. Independence is an entirely different story. The closest town, to my friends ranch was 75 km away. It gives to the reader a sense of distances and size.
if I’m an Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg and I’m very well known, I remote ranch in Argentina seems to be a good place to lay low for a few years. And these are the ones we know, they are many billionaires that are completely Anonymous, whose faces are absolutely not recognizable and who could walk in a town in The middle of Argentina, And be unrecognized. A massive ranch in Argentina is much better than a 300 foot long mega yacht few things and breakdown and anonymity is a lot easier to achieve.
As I said, this does sound unhinged, but it does fit a pattern at one point the masses will wake up and realize that they’ve been bamboozled for 30 years if not longer. They won’t ask question, rage will overtake them,
