Reflecting Pool fiasco, Department of Interior and Health – can it get worse?

First, its been obvious for weeks that the stories around the deterioration of the Washington Reflection Pond were completely made up but a morally bankrupt administration.  Now the head of the Justice Department and the head of the department of interior are fighting about who is more at fault, especially now that it has been proven that not only did the Park service testimony was that there was no evidence of willful destruction.  In addition, those who have been accused of damaging the reflection pool are now seeking legal redress – it's going to cost a few people some serious coin.

Now the head of the department of health, an anti-vaxxer had a total meltdown on television over the weekend, where he accused the interviewer of not being a scientist…which is true, but he is not a scientist either.  The public health crisis, the complete stupidity of those being sent up to the Hill for confirmation.  The person that was nominated to head the CDC had never heard or rMNA – the method that allowed the creation of the Covid vaccine.

The point is that all of President Trump's stupid moves are hatching at the same time.   He promised lower inflation (well it's a little lower but PPI is rising), GDP growth is anemic at 1.5%, when Trump and his friends were promising 4% or even 6% GDP growth.  Janine Perrino the head of the DOJ has been a disaster, and is likely to be fired this week, Tod Blanch, Donald Trump's nominee for Attorney General is at best a fraud and possibly even a crook.  

The ballroom is a disaster and the "private money" that was supposed to build it, has all but vanished.  It now seems that Donald Trump is seeking $600 million from the government to finish his ballroom (which is actually larger than the White House.  Even the Kennedy Center reverted to its old name.  

With any luck, and within the next three years the name Donald Trump will be associated with graft and kleptocracy.  Starting wars all over the world and generating bad will everywhere.  Imagine, even the Canadians hate his guts, and it takes a real effort for Canadians to hate anyone!

The end of Tesla?

 it takes a special kind of idiot, to think that he can antagonize his entire customer base, and think that it will not impact his business. When Elon Musk went to work for Donald Trump, and created the doge department, he antagonized every liberal, and these people represent 90% of his client base.That’s not a brilliant move. Now Elon Musk is worth hundreds of billions of dollar, so he shouldn’t care a great deal, however, he needs to care because of several other issues. The cyber truck has been a disaster, most have had to be recalled because of defective glue, it’s not a truck, it’s not a car, it’s noisy, relatively uncomfortable, but great as a development platform. What Tesla has learned in making car manufacturing more seamless is truly amazing. Demographics

 I am preparing a kind of family tree for our children so that they know where they came from.  In my family I am the only survivor, although my brother and sister died recently they were both in their seventies (a story I told already).    It was a fun process, but it provided more than that.  First, I married relatively young I was 26 when I married and nearly 30 when our first child was born.   I was looking at my ancestors.  On my mother's side, she had 6 siblings, Four died before the age of 30, two in war, and two from illnesses.  Only she and a single sister survived.   The two boys had a child each but they died in WWII, and the other sister died as an infant.   what is interesting is that every one of my mother's siblings had children in their early 20s.   I know that my mom was hardly 20 when my brother was born.    What is remarkable is that among our friends, we are the only ones to have fou...
