It has been evident that the era of scientific achievements has now passed, it has taken two Republican governments to seal the faith of science as a cornerstone of the American system. Don't believe me, look at who leads the nation today; lawyers and idiots – think Robert Kennedy or the recent candidate to the CDC – obvious examples of people who are driven by ego and "truthiness" rather than the cold reality of science.
The seven stages are:
- The Age of Pioneers: Small, energetic nations burst onto the world stage with high courage, dynamic leadership, and a strong sense of collective purpose.
- The Age of Conquests: Territorial and political expansion through military might, building upon the momentum of the pioneer phase.
- The Age of Commerce: Great enterprise and trade flourish, bringing massive influxes of wealth and transforming the nation into a global economic hub.The Age of Affluence: Wealth peaks and comfort becomes widespread; however, greed begins to replace public duty, and civic responsibility gives way to self-interest.
- The Age of Intellect: Society focuses heavily on academic debate, cleverness, and theorizing rather than action, which gradually fractures shared traditional values.
- The Age of Decadence: Characterized by materialism, obsession with celebrity culture/frivolity, pessimism, a weakening of social cohesion, and shirked civic duties.
- The Age of Decline and Collapse: Final internal fragmentation, economic distress, and loss of power render the nation vulnerable to external pressures or implosion.
Everyone recognizes these various stages of America's growth and now decline. Funny enough the one aspect of America that would delay the decline and collapse, its powerful and effective military is now proven to be an albatross to the nation. Think about it for a minute, in the war with Iran, America has consumed more than 50% of its weapons. It has parked its aircraft carriers in the red sea far away from the conflict zone. Worse, it is getting its ass quicked by Iran. Let's be clear, Iran is not a good place, and its leadership has a lot to answer for. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Iran has been the major source of destabilisation in the Middle East.
What is interesting, is that the world's two major powers have been dominated by upstarts, Ukraine and Iran. Both countries have strong scientific backgrounds. With nearly the same size of population. Against Russia 220 million and America 350 million, and where America spends more on its military than the next 18 countries combined. Yet they are getting their asses kicked.
In addition, America had friendly acquaintances in Europe, at best today they are hostil powers that view the United States as a global threat. How things have changed! Yesterday Italy told America to get stuffed, no more use of Italian bases to refuel their aircraft going to the gulf. Lets not forget the italians were the FRIENDLIEST of the bunch (well maybe Hungary too before the change of government).
Anyone looking at the seven stages can see that America is now truly inside the 6th stage – the Age of decadence, starting with the kleptocraft in chief and all his minions looking for the easy graft. Trump even offered, in exchange for a monthly payment, to create a "road to insider trading" with the support of the White House.
Iran is showing that America's military might may be far less imposing than anyone believes, it is entirely possible that the emperor has no clothes.
