1989 all over again, maybe

Whatever is going on in Russia the implication for the rest of the world is critical. What people don’t realize is that 100% of all Russian foreign involvement is done through the Wagner group and not through regular Russian Troops that means that by making the Wagner group outlaw, the Russians have basically given up their positions all of the world where they had an influence in the political and military process. This is a game changer.

It does not matter what happens in Russia, but the involvement of Russia in the rest of the world has taken a major shift and that is critical to the events that will enfold over the next 15 to 20 years.

We will only know the outcome of the battle between the Wagner group and Putin once it’s all over. Right now the disinformation is such that it is an unknown.  One thing for sure is, this is a deciding factor in the Ukraine war. The Wagner group has taken over Russia Southern command, which was the command group in charge of the war in Ukraine, that means that Russian troops no longer have access to ammunition, fuel or food from their headquarters that have been seized by Wagner, in addition, troops that were focus on Ukraine war have now been called back to deal with the Wagner group that is making its way to the Moscow.

This is a rare opportunity for Zielinski,  since the better part of the middle of last week, the Ukrainian forces have focussed on ammunition dumps and seem to be preparing for a major offensive.  It is a rare strategic opportunity to take over a substantial amount of land that they failed to do the last few weeks.

No one saw this outcome as possible, it is completely outside of any strategic analysis, that Russia’s most effective divisions, which were the Wagner group, would rebel against Moscow, and seek to remove Putin and his allies from power. It has long been establish that for Moscow strategy towards Ukraine to change, that would have to be a Civil War, because the majority of those to surround Putin in the power complex are the same opinion that reestablishing the old Soviet union territory, is the only way to safeguard Russia’s military integrity. It is unlikely that the Wagner group will be successful, unless they suddenly have the strong support of regular Russian troops.  When the Wagner group arrives in Moscow and their ability to control the situation. In the last 12 hours they have driven more than 600 km in less than 24 hours, less than 200 km away from Moscow again the likelihood of the Wagner group succeeding is credibly small, but it changes the entire war efforts in Ukraine, having lost the most effective troops in the region , in addition, as I said, both of the removal of Wagner from Russia’s foreign operation has huge implication. I don’t suspect that anyone in the White House or 10 Downing St., or anywhere else for that matter he’s sleeping much these

the removal of Wagner from Russia’s foreign operation has huge implication. I don’t suspect that anyone in the White House or 10 Downing St., or anywhere else for that matter.

This presents the world wouldn’t paradigm shift very much like the fall of the Berlin Wall all these years ago.  The next 100 hours may decide the faith of the was in Ukrainian, much faster than anyone anticipated.

Ok so I lied...a little (revised)

When we began looking at farming in 2013/14 as something we both wanted to do as a "second career" we invested time and money to understand what sector of farming was profitable.  A few things emerged, First, high-quality, source-proven, organic farm products consistently have much higher profit margins.  Secondly, transformation accounted for nearly 80% of total profits, and production and distribution accounted for 20% of profits: Farmers and retailers have low profit margins and the middle bits make all the money. A profitable farm operation needs to be involved in the transformation of its produce.  The low-hanging fruits: cheese and butter.  Milk, generates a profit margin of 5% to 8%, depending on milk quality.  Transformed into cheese and butter, and the profit margin rises to 40% (Taking into account all costs).  Second:  20% of a steer carcass is ground beef quality.  The price is low, because (a) a high percentage of the carcass, and (b) ground beef requires process

21st century milk parlour

When we first looked at building our farm in 2018, we made a few money-saving decisions, the most important is that we purchased our milk herd from a retiring farmer and we also purchased his milking parlour equipment.  It was the right decision at the time.  The equipment dates from around 2004/05 and was perfectly serviceable, our installers replaced some tubing but otherwise, the milking parlour was in good shape.  It is a mature technology. Now, we are building a brand new milk parlour because our milking cows are moving from the old farm to the new farm.  So we are looking at brand new equipment this time because, after 20 years of daily service, the old cattle parlour's systems need to be replaced.  Fear not it will not be destroyed instead good chunks will end up on Facebook's marketplace and be sold to other farmers for spare parts or expansion of their current systems. All our cattle are chipped, nothing unusual there, we have sensors throughout the farm, and our milki

So we sold surplus electricity one time last summer...(Update)

I guess that we will be buying an additional tank for our methane after all.   Over the past few months, we've had several electricity utilities/distributors which operate in our region come to the farm to "inspect our power plant facilities, to ensure they conform to their requirements".  This is entirely my fault.  Last summer we were accumulating too much methane for our tankage capacity, and so instead of selling the excess gas, that would have cost us some money, we (and I mean me) decided to produce excess electricity and sell it to the grid.  Because of all the rules and regulations, we had to specify our overall capacity and timing for the sale of electricity (our capacity is almost 200 Kw) which is a lot but more importantly, it's available 24/7, because it's gas powered.  It should be noted that the two generators are large because we burn methane and smaller generators are difficult to adapt to burn unconventional gas, plus they are advanced and can &qu
