Egypte and other people's money (UPDATE)

It may have made it to this side of the pound by now, but there's a rather explosive report in the US press that talks about the money that Egypt's CIA may have paid to Donald Trump.

Egypt is stuck in a Gordian knot, and Trump provided an escape, a way of cutting the knot.   The economic and political problems of Egypt are intractable.   A land that can possibly support 40 million inhabitants is home to more than double that number.   A ruling class separate from the people, and a US government withholding military aid.

The story, if it is correct, is that the Egyptian CIA saw a solution in Donald Trump, they made a small bet of around $10 million, that Trump used to fund his campaign and when he got the job, he promised to release the billions that had been withheld by Obama.

Bottom line the Egyptian CIA paid a bribe to Donald Trump and he used the money to fund his 2016 campaign.   The problem is that according to the story, William Barr stopped the investigation after it was highlighted by Muller!

If this sounds far-fetched, it is a little, but it is almost certain that William Barr used his position to stop investigations that were detrimental to the President (it is also his job to allocate resources).   Now the status of limitation has expired, and this is why it is coming out now, the participants cannot be pursued in Justice... and they now hate Donald Trump!

Let's be clear, Egypt got exactly what it needed, the billions of dollars it got in military aid, allowed the Regime to tamp down political opponents.  As far as Egypt's rulers are concerned this was a fantastic investment.

WHY NOW:   Because it shows how corrupt Donald Trump is in the entire process.    The $9.998 million dollars he got from the Egyptians is the exact amount Donald contributed to his election campaign.   Right now Trump cannot make a good move, every time he tries something it blows up in his face.

Ok so I lied...a little (revised)

When we began looking at farming in 2013/14 as something we both wanted to do as a "second career" we invested time and money to understand what sector of farming was profitable.  A few things emerged, First, high-quality, source-proven, organic farm products consistently have much higher profit margins.  Secondly, transformation accounted for nearly 80% of total profits, and production and distribution accounted for 20% of profits: Farmers and retailers have low profit margins and the middle bits make all the money. A profitable farm operation needs to be involved in the transformation of its produce.  The low-hanging fruits: cheese and butter.  Milk, generates a profit margin of 5% to 8%, depending on milk quality.  Transformed into cheese and butter, and the profit margin rises to 40% (Taking into account all costs).  Second:  20% of a steer carcass is ground beef quality.  The price is low, because (a) a high percentage of the carcass, and (b) ground beef requires process

JD Vance -- Buyer's remorse (update)

Senator Vance like all human beings is a complex person.   He wrote a powerful book that was even turned into an excellent movie.  His "memoir" Hillbilly Elegy talks about a man who grew up in some level of poverty -- not exactly true, but then who cares, it was still an excellent book.    Being the running mate of Donald Trump cannot be easy, first and foremost President Trump is nuts and lazy.  It has been reported from several sources that one of his ideas was to create a 2,000-mile moat between Mexico and the US and fill it with snakes and crocodiles -- -not kidding here!  The bleach against Covid, there was a lot.  Not only has been proven to be ignorant he is also famous for doing absolutely nothing.   Senator Vance brought two things to the ticket Ohio (a swing state) and youth.  He is not 40 yet.   He was a great "anti-age" foil against Biden and to an extent Trump who is not a young man either, at 78.    However, part of the problem is that Senator Vance li

Spray painting Taylor Swift G650 aircraft (updated)

First, a bit of paint will not harm anyone.  These climate activities are going to learn two things in the next few days:  (1) Trespassing at an airport is a felony almost anywhere in the world.  That means criminal prosecution.   (2) removing paint from an aircraft is expensive.   So these climate activists are about to find out the reach of the British criminal system and it will not be pleasant, the UK has very strict laws about that, I would be surprised if cleaning the aircraft of all the paint will cost less than $100,000.     I am sure that when they planned (premeditation) this little show they had a very valid logic to doing this.  Tonight, they are probably realizing the depth of their troubles.   I understand that in the UK it's a minimum one-year jail sentence.    Also, good luck travelling with a criminal trespass charge against you.  I am relatively certain that the airline industry will slap them with no-fly status. Update;  It seems that what they threw on the airc
