Harry, Megan and the Royal Family

First, believe nothing of what you read in the newspapers, about Harry and Megan.  Trust only facts.  First, the king is still pissed with Harry, and the latest (and unnecessary) move to strike Harry's family from the Royal biography is at best petty at worse...well Andrew is still there!

There is no doubt that Harry would like to spend some time in the UK, it is after all his home.  He spent several years defending it, and he has a real and profound attachment to the place.  Their departure from the Royal merry-go-round occurred through a series of accidents.  Harry and Megan wanted to dramatically reduce their role as royals, first because a lot of it is meaningless ribbon cutting and Megan discovered that the royal family really didn't like her very much.  The initial idea was to cut 90% of their royal duties and no longer count on the British government's patronage.  Basically, they would continue to represent the Queen but would do this as unpaid work.   The Queen and the Royal household probably wanted to force Harry back by saying it was all or nothing.

To the Royal family's surprise, Harry and Megan chose "nothing", and left the country.

For them, the US is home, at least until Trump returns to power and expels Harry, for lying on his visa application (it seems that Harry did smoke some weed at one point...).  The truth is that Harry and Megan's brand value is far higher in the US than in the UK, their strategy to relaunch their brand, and the King's apparent support (by his own statement) is a clear indication.  Harry is being expunged from the Royal rolls.  The two of them have a few things going for them, and they would certainly not be the only ones using their notoriety to make a living.   

Harry is almost certainly disappointed by the King's recent actions.  But after his 48-hour lighting visit probably not surprised.  It could be worse

Donald Trump‘s bad bargain

 The entire of 2023 and 2024 when Donald Trump was running for the White House, his mantra was no war, that the Ukraine conflict would be resolved in a day, and that he would do everything not to involve America and war.  Donald Trump got the rare earth metals that he had thrown away on April 2, liberation day as he called it. What did the Chinese get in exchange? The whole deal, is on the wrap right now. But let’s be clear.
