Military adventurism: President Biden's process

Only America stands between global censure and Israel.  The Americans have continually voted against censure and other actions that will give Gaza hope of survival.  America is supporting the Gaza genocide!  That's an easy read.

The real problem is that any global intervention in Gaza would be an American intervention.  No other country has the troops or the equipment to take an active role in the conflict.  This is the reason the world is so rapid in condemning Israel, they know they will not suffer the consequences.   

After the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, America's political leaders have no appetite for any foreign entanglements.  Even if Biden detests Bibi Netanyahu, the only way to stay out of the fight is to stop the condemnation.  Of course, it will lead to genocide, but the reality is that no one has a good idea as to what to do with Gaza, more importantly, no one has cared about Gaza for the past 40 years.

Siding with the Palestinians for Europe is easy now, remembering just a little bit of history and forgetting the inconvenient bits.  After 1945, one country was against the establishment of Israel, America was against the creation of a Jewish state in Palestine because American diplomats knew that it would cause massive problems.  Clinton negotiated a peace agreement between Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin, from which the Palestinians walked away.  After that containment became the Israeli's defacto solution and the creation of Gaza.  The rest of the world forgot about Gaza for the next 30 years.

America will not be dragged into another Middle Eastern conflict, and they just don't care how the world perceives them.  Biden knows that whatever he does there he will be criticised by those who happily remain on the sidelines.  American might as well stay away.

 it takes a special kind of idiot, to think that he can antagonize his entire customer base, and think that it will not impact his business. When Elon Musk went to work for Donald Trump, and created the doge department, he antagonized every liberal, and these people represent 90% of his client base.That’s not a brilliant move. Demographics

 I am preparing a kind of family tree for our children so that they know where they came from.  In my family I am the only survivor, although my brother and sister died recently they were both in their seventies (a story I told already).    It was a fun process, but it provided more than that.  First, I married relatively young I was 26 when I married and nearly 30 when our first child was born.   I was looking at my ancestors.  On my mother's side, she had 6 siblings, Four died before the age of 30, two in war, and two from illnesses.  Only she and a single sister survived.   The two boys had a child each but they died in WWII, and the other sister died as an infant.   what is interesting is that every one of my mother's siblings had children in their early 20s.   I know that my mom was hardly 20 when my brother was born.    What is remarkable is that among our friends, we are the only ones to have fou...
